Using This Website and Becoming a Member

This site describes Cowboy Christian, a health cost sharing platform. Reading this site, joining the wait list, or creating an account does not make you a member or create a contract for cost sharing. A membership begins only when you complete enrollment, including signing the member agreement. The Sharing Guidelines are that agreement, and they govern your membership. All plan details, features, and pricing shown are subject to final confirmation at enrollment.

Not Insurance

Cowboy Christian is a health cost sharing platform and is not an insurance company. Membership does not constitute an insurance policy, the sharing of costs between members is entirely voluntary, and sharing is not guaranteed. Nothing on this website is a solicitation of insurance.

Not Medical Advice

Content on this site is general information only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of your own physician. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider for any medical condition, and call 911 in an emergency.

The Wait List

Joining the wait list signs you up for email updates only. It does not enroll you in membership, obligate you to anything, or require payment. You can unsubscribe at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your email address.

Text Messages

These terms apply to the text messages Cowboy Christian sends to members, and to the text message program you agree to in your account settings. The program is for Cowboy Christian members: you turn it on yourself in your own account settings, where you check the box agreeing to texts. If you have a text message from us, you can also turn them on by replying START or UNSTOP to it. We send them to the phone number on your account, so that number needs to be one that can receive text messages. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of your membership. The program opens to you when the text message choice appears in your account settings. Until then there is nothing to turn on there, a reply of START or UNSTOP does not turn texts on, and we do not send you text messages.

Our text messages carry notices about your account rather than marketing. If you turn on text messages in your settings, we send them to the phone number on your account: security alerts for a new sign-in or device, payment problems, upcoming contribution reminders, and changes to the status of a sharing request of yours. Message frequency varies with your account activity. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Reply HELP for help, or STOP to cancel at any time. You can also turn text messages off on this website: the "Turn off text messages" control sits in your account settings, on the same screen where you turned them on. You still receive the account notices we always send by email.

Your mobile information and your opt-in consent to text messages are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with the phone number on your account and which providers carry your messages.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you have a question about text messages from us, or you cannot get them to stop, write to us at info@joincowboychristian.com.

Intellectual Property

The Cowboy Christian name, logo, and all content on this site belong to Cowboy Christian, LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse this site, including attempting to interfere with its operation, submitting false information, or using automated tools to scrape or overload it.

If you are a member, what you see in your account about other members' sharing requests is shown to you because you are a member. Keep it to yourself: do not copy, post, or share it outside Cowboy Christian. You are responsible for what you write in a short summary, which other members may read if members share toward your request.

No Warranties; Limitation of Liability

This site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cowboy Christian, LLC will not be liable for any damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
