Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 9, 2026

We want Cowboy Christian to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our Target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across this site and the member portal.

Tell Us About a Problem

If any part of this site is hard or impossible for you to use, we want to hear about it. Email us at support@joincowboychristian.com, or use our contact form. We aim to reply within 2 business days to let you know we received your message and what we plan to do next.

Known Limitations

  • Some pages, including the State-by-State Guide and the Resource Center, are not yet part of our automated accessibility checks.
  • We have not yet tuned this site for Windows contrast themes.

Settings We Follow

You do not need to set anything up on this site. It follows the device settings in this table when your browser passes them along to websites.

Device settings this site follows
If your device is set toThis site will
Reduce motionShow page content right away instead of fading or sliding it in, and pause the background video on the home page
Reduce transparencyMake frosted-glass panels solid and remove the blur behind them
Increase contrastMake frosted-glass panels solid and give them a stronger border

Not every browser shares every one of these settings with websites, so a setting may have no effect here in some browsers.

Where to find these settings:

  • On a Mac: System Settings, then Accessibility. Transparency and contrast are under Display. Motion is under Motion, or under Display on older versions.
  • On Windows: Settings, then Accessibility, then Visual effects. Turn off Animation effects to reduce motion, and turn off Transparency effects to reduce transparency.
  • On iPhone and iPad: Settings, then Accessibility. Contrast is under Display & Text Size, and motion is under Motion.
  • On Android: Settings, then Accessibility. To reduce motion, turn on Remove animations, which some phones place under Color and motion. The names of the settings differ by phone maker.
  • To make everything larger on any device: use your browser's zoom. On a computer, hold Ctrl (Cmd on a Mac) and press the plus or minus key. On a phone or tablet, place two fingers on the screen and spread them apart.

How We Check

An automated scan checks the main public pages of this site each time we propose a change to the site. It tests them against the WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA rules that software can test. A scan like this cannot find every barrier. We also calculate color contrast from the site's own color values, including for see-through surfaces that the scan cannot evaluate.

Built In, Not Added On

Accessibility is part of how we build this site. We do not add a third-party accessibility widget or overlay, so the screen reader, magnifier, or other tools you already use read each page directly.
